YMCA Camp High Harbour, located on beautiful Lake Burton in the northeast Georgia Mountains, offers a variety of programs for our campers. During the summer, Lake Burton operates 9 one-week sessions. Campers live in large cedar cabins on Lake Burton for a rustic camping experience. We offer two general camping programs, three specialty camps, a day camp, and our Advanced Leadership Academy program. Registrations are accepted via our website. Important parent + camp information

In conjunction with the American Camp Association and the CDC, we will be following the guidelines set forth by the Executive Orders issued by Governor Kemp. Examples of updated protocols and procedures for summer camp include but are not limited to:

• Check-in – temperatures of campers/parents will be taken upon arrival to camp; we ask that additional friends/family do not accompany you for drop-off and pick-up.
• Campers will rotate in “cohorts” that include only cabin mates and cabin staff for daily skills, meals and evening programs. Wellness checks of campers will be completed each morning and evening.
• As always, trained infirmary staff will live on-site at both Lake Burton and Lake Allatoona.
• High touchpoint areas will be cleaned and sanitized throughout the day.

A thorough list of updated safety procedures and protocols will be emailed prior to your camper’s session.

All applicable camp forms must be completed and uploaded to your camper's CampMinder account before he/she can attend camp. Detailed information is listed in the Parent Handbook. Camper health form is available on your CampMinder account.
